The "I Have a Dream" speech was given by Martin Luther King Jr. on August 28, 1963. This speech was given in Washington D.C. while the march on Washington happened. The amazing part about that day was even though he was talking about black rights, white people were there. This is an example of what life should be today. We are all brother and sisters.
The speech itself is considered one of the greatest speeches of all time. To me this speech sums up the whole meaning of peace. What I got from this speech was that we should not be fighting amongst each other, but giving each other a hand when we fall down.
Squid, I agree that we are all brothers and sisters. If we could have more people like Martin Luther King Jr., our world would be a lot better. I enjoyed the post!
